Preparations for the Extreme

Build a Kit: Canned food, water, emergency kit, flashlight, medicine, identifications

Make a Plan:Confirm the meeting points for your family and emergency contacting methods.

Reinforce Your Home:Check if doors and windows are secure; install storm shutters or flood barriers if necessary.

Check Power Equipment: Ensure portable power stations are fully charged and in good condition; prepare solar panels or backup charging devices. If you use a traditional generator, please only keep it outdoors and away from windows.

During the Extreme

Maintain Communication: Use portable power stations to keep phones, radios, and other devices powered for the latest disaster updates. Avoid excessive phone use to conserve battery.

Ensure Basic Living Needs: Use portable power stations to keep refrigerators running and preserve food. Power lighting devices (e.g., LED lights) to ensure safety at night.

Ensure Safety: Stay away from windows, glass doors, and other fragile items. If the house is damaged, move to a safe area immediately (e.g., basement or shelter).

Monitor Health Conditions:Use portable power stations to power medical devices (e.g., ventilators, oxygen concentrators). Regularly check the health of family members, especially the elderly and children.

Post-Disaster Recovery

Assess Damage: Check if the house structure is safe; avoid entering severely damaged areas. Take photos or videos to document damage to insurance claims.

If you suffer from blackouts, we want to hear from you. You also must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a legal resident of the United States and be at least 18 years old.
- Willing to share and describe how outages affect you in detail, including providing photos and videos.
- Willing to share photos or videos showing your use of Anker SOLIX products (including Anker SOLIX F3800, F2000, and C1000).

Q2: How do I apply for free backup power?

Just complete the form and submit it. Our team will review your submission. Even better, include some photos or videos showing how outages affect your life and share them on your own social media accounts. Don't forget to tag us!

Q3: How do I know if I've been selected?

Once you've submitted your application, we'll let you know our decision within 10 business days.

Q4: What type of content would you like me to share?

f you'd like to receive Anker SOLIX PS400 Portable Solar Panel:
- Describe how Anker SOLIX products help backup your home.
- Take clear photos of Anker SOLIX products.
- During blackouts, show lights on or devices powered.
If you'd like to receive Anker SOLIX F3800 Portable Power Station:
- Show and describe a typical outage scenario due to extreme weather or extreme events.
- Show why continuous power is needed for vital appliances or for a significant event.
- Show how frequently blackouts occur.
- Describe your current backup power solution and upload a photo of it.
Note: Only one participant will be selected from five unique scenarios for a total of five recipients for Anker SOLIX PS400 and a total of five recipients for Anker SOLIX F3800.

Q5: When will the product recipients be announced?

No public announcement of the recipients is scheduled at this time, but we will let individuals know if they are chosen within 10 business days of their submission. We will also post their stories on Ankersolix.com and Anker SOLIX social media accounts.
- Anker SOLIX PS400 Portable Solar Panel stories will be posted until early August.
- Anker SOLIX F3800 stories will be posted until the end of 2024.

Q6: How will my story be shared?

- Stories for both Anker SOLIX PS400 Portable Solar Panel and Anker SOLIX F3800 will be posted on Ankersolix.com and Anker SOLIX social media. In addition, an Anker SOLIX team will record stories for Anker SOLIX F3800.

Terms and Conditions

Anker SOLIX ("Anker SOLIX," "we," "us," or "our") welcomes you to participate in the Anker SOLIX Power Outage Program ("the Program") and to share your contents with us. Please read these Anker SOLIX Power Outage Program Terms and Conditions (“these Ts&Cs”) carefully.

You have the right to choose whether to participate in the Program. By becoming one of the participants and uploading your content (video and all the components contained therein, e.g. sounds, pictures, lines, visual design, etc., collectively, “Content”), you (A) acknowledge that you have read and understood all the Content provisions in these T&Cs; (B) represent that you have full civil capacity to sign a binding agreement (being over 18 years old or having reached the legal age of majority in your country/region), or you are a legal person or other organization established and legally conducting business activities under the laws of your country/region; and (C) agree to be bound by these Ts&Cs.

If you do not agree to any of the terms in these Ts&Cs, please do not participate in this program.

Program Duration: This is a long-term program with no set end date. To be included in product support of Anker SOLIX F3800, Anker SOLIX PS400 Portable Solar Panel or AnkerCredits, you must upload your Content before July 31, 2024. After this date, you will not be eligible for the supportive products.
Program Participation: Before participating, you must submit a form, which will be reviewed by Anker SOLIX representatives. If you pass this screening, the Anker SOLIX team will contact you based on the information you provided in your application.
Program Benefits: By becoming a participant, you will be entitled to the following benefits:
1. You will be provided with 2,000 AnkerCredits. All participants will receive it.
2. If your story content is well received by the Anker SOLIX team (Read the FAQ for more information), you will have a chance to receive the following: an Anker SOLIX PS400 Portable Solar Panel (no limiting amount) or an Anker SOLIX F3800 (10 in total this year). A limited number of products are available and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Product recipients will get informed via email.

  3. Participants who post their story on their social accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram, X) will be preferred for selection .

4. If you are selected as a participant, Anker SOLIX will contact you based on the contact information you provided in your application. To safeguard the interests of both you and Anker SOLIX, we may ask you to sign a mutually agreed contract. In the event of a conflict between contractual terms and these Ts&Cs, the contractual terms shall prevail. For more information on how we collect and protect your contact information and other personal data, please review the Anker SOLIX Privacy Policy.
5. If the products cannot be delivered, or we are unable to contact you due to incorrect, incomplete, or other reasons due to the contact information you provide, you will be deemed to have automatically given up the right to receive the supportive products. In such an event, we will not be liable and will not reward the funds to another participant or issue an equivalent product.
Content Audit Provisions: Once you have been approved to participate, you should familiarize yourself with these Content Audit Provisions.
1. Audit Method: Submissions will be manually reviewed based on the Audit Criteria. Submissions will be reviewed on a regular basis, but notification of results may vary depending on the amount of submissions received.
2. Audit Criteria: Submitted contents must meet the relevant stipulations as defined in Section FAQ.
3. Audit Procedures: Internal screening is conducted in two rounds to get two supportive products, as defined in Section 3 "Program Benefits." If selected as a product recipients, you will be notified.
